School violence and bullying is on the rise. Bullying occurs most frequently in adolescence with little variation between urban, suburban town, and rural areas.
Since 1999, the violent public school bullying incidents have increased in over 70-80%.
160,000 kids will not attend school each day out of fear of a bully’s verbal or physical abuse. The number one cause of teen suicide is the result of some type of bullying. Additionally, most school shootings are caused by kids that feel they have no other means to protect themselves.
Don’t let your child suffer from bullying. Let us help build confidence, stop the teasing, reduce stress and enjoy life! Call today to enroll your child in our free 1-hour introduction class.
We will teach your child to use verbal assertiveness to deter bullies and several self-defense techniques to stay safe if physically assaulted. Numerous school districts have embraced the defensive nature of Bully-Prevention in preparing your child to defend themselves against bullies without turning them into one.
At California Mixed Martial Arts your kids will learn how to deal with these situations. Not only will they learn how to defend themselves physically, but how to prevent the bullying in the first place. Brazilian Jiu Jtsu, Boxing, MMA and Muay Thai are not only regarded effective self-defense programs, but also teaches kids core values that will help them to be confident and effective individuals for the rest of their life. These are just a few things your kids will learn from our California Champions program.
California Champions (Ages 7-13)
BULLY PROOF BJJ / MMA PROGRAM
At the CMMA Academy, all of our kids begin their MMA journey as white belts. We award one stripe for every 10 classes each student attends (This includes the rest of the California MMA program). Once they earn four stripes, the student will
be tested. If they pass, we promote them to the next belt and award the student with a certification of belt advancement.
